According to Article 8 of the "On the management of international students’ status and matriculation at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (Trial)", international students who wish to transfer their major should submit their applications at the end of the first semester. These applications will be examined and verified by the School of Overseas Education, granted by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and approved by the leadership of the university in charge of foreign affairs. The detailed requirements list as follows.
Applicant: First year bachelor students.
Application Time: In the end of autumn semester
Quota: The number of transferred students cannot exceed 10% of the total number of students in the major. If the number of applicants exceeds 10%, the academic performance (GPA+Interview+Attendance) will be a reference for selecting applicants. Students with higher academic performance score will have priority.
Qualifications of applicants:
A. In the first semester, the GPA should be within the top 10% in the original major.
B. Or the student who has great difficulties in the original major and shows interests and talents in the targeted major.
C. Based on the condition of A or B, the students’ attendance rate shall be above 90%, without any disorderly conduct, such as absence from class without any reasons.
Procedures of application:
A. Students download the affix of application form and submit to 1-500(8),Ms Lin office
B. These applications will be examined and verified by the College of Overseas Education and other relevant colleges and departments, granted by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and approved by the leadership of the university in charge of foreign affairs.
C. The result of the application will be posted in official website of the College of Overseas Education in the beginning of the 2nd semester.
Special Reminders for Major Transfer Students
1: After you change your major, you will change your degree map accordingly.
2: You need to make up the courses of transferred major that you missed in the 1st semester.
3: You can substitute the courses which have the same course code you have taken, but if course codes are different, you have to make up the courses.

关于职工转专业的实施细则(修订)
根据《威廉希尔足球官网国际生入学及学籍管理办法(试行)》第八条,因特殊情况申请转专业的职工,需在指定时间之内提出申请,经相关部门审核,决定是否准许转专业。公司职工只限于第一学期教学周结束前提出申请。具体要求如下:
适格申请人:一年级本科职工。
人数限额:转入员工的人数不超过该专业年级总人数的10%。若申请人数超过10%,根据第一学期学业表现(GPA+面试+考勤)择优录取。
三、职工提出转专业申请时,应具备以下条件:
1. 在提出申请的当学期,学习成绩在本专业列前10%(含10%)以内;
2. 或:如对所在专业学习确实存在特殊困难的员工,对所转专业有一定特长和兴趣,可提出转专业申请。
3. 申请者不应存在违法以及欠费、无故缺勤、旷课等违纪行为,且学习态度良好、课堂出勤率须达90%以上。
四、员工提出申请、由海外教育学院和相关培养学院及部门审核,由国际合作交流处和分管外事的校领导批准,最终名单报教务处、财务处。

关于对转专业同学的特别提醒
《威廉希尔足球官网全日制本科生转专业实施细则》(修订)(校教发〔2017〕22号)和《威廉希尔足球官网全日制本科生转专业实施细则》(修订)(校教发〔2018〕25号)中第十三条规定,集团对转专业的员工按照转入专业的培养计划进行学籍管理。
第十四条规定,学校对转专业员工的学分按下列规定计算:
(一)与转入专业同档或高一档的通识基础课、学科基础课和专业基础课程学分仍然有效。低于转入专业的通识基础课、学科基础课和专业基础课程必须补修。
(二)员工转专业前获得的课程学分与转入专业培养计划无关的,可计算为选修课学分(具体见各专业培养计划)。
根据以上规定的要求,申请转专业的员工经选拔考试转入新专业后,新专业培养计划中已经开过的课程必须补修或按照规定进行对照抵充,由于教学资源的限制,员工在补修跨年级的专业课程时会造成与本年级专业课程的冲突,因此转入新专业后所缺的专业课程可能会延迟到三年级、四年级甚至延长在校学习期限方能补修完毕,这可能给转专业员工增加学习负担,请申请转专业的同学务必了解转专业带来的风险和压力后慎重提出申请。
